Superior Cathedral Scrip Program

What is Scrip and how does it help the school?
Cathedral School purchases gift certificates at a discount from available vendors and then we sell them to you at their face value. You then use them just like cash at your favorite store and Cathedral keeps the difference!

Is there a catch?
NO! These vendors participate in Scrip programs because they have a vested interest in the community. They support us as we support them. It is a win-win arrangement for everyone!

When and where can I buy Scrip?
Currently, we are selling Scrip in the Main Office during school hours. You are welcome to stop in and buy what we have in stock or place an order to be filled. Our goal is to work with the local parishes and have Scrip available there for the community and parishoners to purchase.

Other details...
As more and more people are beginning to understand what Scrip has to offer our school, we have gotten busier and busier with it. Please be patient with us we adapt to your Scrip needs.

Below you will find a link to the current order form, it will change as vendors change. We fill it with local vendors you can find in the Twin Ports, but feel free to check out the Great Lakes Scrip Center website at glscrip.com to see all the other merchants if you find yourself traveling or looking for gifts!

Download the Scrip Form.

We will be offering American Express cards instead of the VISA.
If you get groceries these will work great at Super One!

Below you will find sad news from GLSCRIP.

Rest assured that the VISA cards you have are valid, that is not the issue.

It is an issue of legislation.

Visa Prepaid Cards To Be Discontinued

“As soon as Great Lakes Scrip Center's current inventory is depleted, we will no longer be offering the Visa Prepaid Card in any denomination. The new federal Credit CARD Act legislation will make offering these cards for scrip fundraising extremely difficult. Those difficulties will greatly reduce the fundraising for our NPO customers and make it unprofitable for our Visa card issuer. We apologize for the extremely short notice, but we have been working diligently to find a solution and concluded, just today, that it is not feasible. We anticipate beginning to run out of stock as soon as the end of this week.”
