Dear Parents: 

Preparations are under way for Catholic Schools Week.  Catholic Schools Week starts the weekend of January 24.  It has become a tradition for our students to be involved in Mass that weekend.  Involvement varies by parish, but typical services to sign up for include cross bearer, reader, Eucharistic minister, servers, and people willing to give a testimonial.  Testimonials can be given by parents, high school students, or alumni.  There is a designated contact person for each parish.  Please give your contact a call to volunteer!

 It takes many volunteers to make the Athletic Association Pancake Breakfast go smoothly!  Please take this opportunity to call the school and let them know that we can count on you or your families help that morning!

Adopt-A-Family gifts were delivered Tuesday to the Salvation Army.  A big thanks goes out to all participating families, your continued generosity overwhelms us! 

Spirit Wear is in, or at least most of it is here.  The office will be going through the order and sending it home on Friday.  Screen Graphics will be in contact with us to get orders that come in, hopefully before Christmas. 

Dear Parents of Cathedral School ,  

During Advent our class, the seventh grade, held a winter clothing and blanket drive.  It was a huge success!  We collected 16 large bags of coats, 18 large bags of blankets sheets and pillows, 1 bag of boots, 1 bag of sweaters, and 2 bag of hats, mittens, and scarves.  We also collected a large bag of miscellaneous items that went to Goodwill.   Most of the clothing and blankets went to the St. Vincent DePaul Society with some also going to the Community Action Free Store on Tower Avenue .  Some of our class experienced a small family coming in and immediately took blankets.  There was another man living in his truck who received our help.  

The seventh grade class would like to thank all of you for your generosity this advent season.
